Ultra Low Cost Cooling and heating of modern buildings
A new revolutionary low energy environmental control system for office blocks, factories and other building enclosures has been developed by McKee Fluidized Glazing Ltd. , environmentally friendly, engineered and tested cladding, facade and curtain wall systems for buildings. The applications are suited to any building or vehicle, boat, train or coach that needs to be cooled or heated.
Up to the time of the development no cladding, building envelope or enclosure existed which was able to dissipate or use the solar and/or the internally generated energy of a building. It is the only facade system available that can remove the internally generated heat gains from people and equipment.
McKee cladding systems reduce running costs and pollution, are attractive, aesthetically pleasing; allows natural day-light and ventilation, the colour of the facade may be changed at will, create healthy buildings at a reduced capital cost.
No extra cooling in summer or heating in winter. Except for extreme conditions. >90% energy saving.
The system displaces large amounts of unfriendly air-conditioning, cooling and heating and air ducting equipment. The energy requirement is so low that solar Photo-voltaics, renewable energy, may be used to power the total system. Energy storage is by change of temperature of water.
The technology has been lead by Dr. Frederick McKee the inventor who, for over 14 years has worked on all aspects of the technology and previously as a senior scientist/engineer with Marconi Research for about twenty years, MD of Dunlop Solaronics Ltd., as consultant to Loctite on adhesive enhancement treatments, Saint-Gobain and Vegla as R&D consultant on fabrication of "Fluidized Glazing " units made using ordinary float and toughend glass. Investment / licensing in this patented green technology is welcomed.
